Kung Fu Hustle

“This is one of the funniest movies I’ve seen in a long time.” — Angeline
“LOLOLOLOLOL!” — Me

Go see it. I finally got to see the rest of the movie after I watched part of it on Jason’s scratched up DVD.

Weber Baby Q

Weber Baby Q
 I know, I know. After reading some reviews, I just had to upgrade to this beautiful thing. And one reviewer referred to the stand as not just a stand, but a “grilling podium” so I’m going to go back and get that too.

Spring

Filed under: Exciting @ 4:51 pm

The forecast shows 3 days of sunshine! What does that mean? Spring is here! And what does that mean? It’s time to get ready for summer! And what does that mean? BBQs!

I quested to find the perfect deck grill and I ended up with this cheapass gas grill from walmart. There were some cool ones at lowes and home depot but nothing was really nice enough and cost more too.

This weekend I hope to fire up my trusty 10,000 BTU portable gas grill and see what “made in china” really means! Woo hoo!!:drunk:

Chi-town

Filed under: Exciting @ 1:01 am

So…Chicago is a nice city and so is the metro area. The area we stayed was a little yuppy but the Chicago area was also really nice. On our way back to Michigan it seemed like we were driving into the shadow of a huge cloud. There was a sign that read: “Welcome to Michigan. Great lakes. Great times.” They should also add “Great big freaking pot holes.”

Well, not to prolong the suspense, here are the pictures:

Chicago Skyline
The nice chicago skyline. We never got to go to The Sears Tower.

Downtown Chicago
Downtown Chicago is nice.

Chicago's Navy Pier
The navy pier is cool but not that cool.

Representing from Anaheim!
There was this map that you pay a buck to put your name on. Representing Anaheim baby! :yeah:

L-Train Station
The L-Train station.

L-Train
The L-Train going by. We rode it for only one stop. Haha.

Chicago Theatre
A cool looking theatre.

Me stuffing my face
Look at that stud eating his deep dish pizza.

IKEA - Schaumburg
Seeing this huge IKEA brought tears to my eyes. :sob: IKEA is seriously an amusement park made for adults.

IKEA tray cart
They had these cool carts in the cafeteria. Those Swedish meatballs are damn good. A little smallish though.

Full truck
Oh yeah. Lots of money and 6 hours later. :wallbash:

Angeline actually building
A rare sight.

More pictures.

Bikini bottom is moved in

Filed under: Exciting @ 12:15 am

Finally, I got my fish tank moved in and almost completely on line. :yeah:

Brian, Tony, Steve and Jackie got here this morning at 7:30. I didn’t sleep last night either since we were trying to get the place cleared up before they came. I got a 2 hour nap in after returning a U-Haul furniture dolly that I almost left/lost outside Riverfront. :sleepzz:

Almost all moved in

Filed under: Exciting @ 3:01 am

Now time to get almost settled in. We spent all day moving the bigger stuff and managed to fill up the 17′ U-Haul we rented. Pictures to come I think, probably after the place gets arranged. So exhausted.

Today is our 8-year Anniversary! I can’t believe it.
