I got my Christmas present early this year. It had to do with timing, but I think the timing was just right. Geline booked me a little getaway to this cool place in Desert Hot Springs called El Morocco Inn & Spa.
During the day, we went up the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway. There was a foot of snow! (We secretly miss the Michigan snow.)
Obviously, we made ourselves a cool little midget snowman. It looks fast in the collage but it took freaking forever without gloves. Anyways, say hi to Fred!

Thanks honey for a great weekend and Christmas present!

Sometimes when I’m bored, I click around on Flickr’s most interesting photos from the 7 days, based on “interestingness”. Anyways, I’ve amassed around 30 or so images I’ve added to my favorites. If you’re bored, check ’em out.

Check out what I discovered when I signed into meebo tonight. It’s a neat little map of the world displaying where users are chatting from.

My migration to Flickr has me finding all these nifty little tools for my photos. Mine isn’t as impressive as the first one I saw, but hopefully it’ll get there.

I just discovered this neat little tool called retrievr.
A lovely experiment, retrievr lets you search and explore in a selection of Flickr images by drawing a rough sketch and then seeing which of our interesting photos come up as a match. Beware! You will spend hours pouring over the stunning (and sometimes unexpected) results.

So I’ve decided to give Flickr a try. Managing my own photo site takes too much time and effort. Especially when I want to add new features. Hopefully, I’ll be able to make updates to it more often now.

There are almost half a million people named Jack and 1620 people with the same last name in the US of A. This website also says there are 3 people with my same first and last name. I thought I was unique…

Just discovered a new Google Maps feature. Google can connect you to a number for you! You just click “Call” and type in your phone number. The caller ID shows up as the number you are calling so you can save it. OMG, check it out!

I’m happy Isaac was a proud enough nerd to link this video on his Xanga. It’s amazing.
