Chi-town
So…Chicago is a nice city and so is the metro area. The area we stayed was a little yuppy but the Chicago area was also really nice. On our way back to Michigan it seemed like we were driving into the shadow of a huge cloud. There was a sign that read: “Welcome to Michigan. Great lakes. Great times.” They should also add “Great big freaking pot holes.”
Well, not to prolong the suspense, here are the pictures:
The nice chicago skyline. We never got to go to The Sears Tower.
Downtown Chicago is nice.
The navy pier is cool but not that cool.
There was this map that you pay a buck to put your name on. Representing Anaheim baby! :yeah:
The L-Train station.
The L-Train going by. We rode it for only one stop. Haha.
A cool looking theatre.
Look at that stud eating his deep dish pizza.
Seeing this huge IKEA brought tears to my eyes. :sob: IKEA is seriously an amusement park made for adults.
They had these cool carts in the cafeteria. Those Swedish meatballs are damn good. A little smallish though.
Oh yeah. Lots of money and 6 hours later. :wallbash:
A rare sight.
More pictures.
Our cool hotel with free internet. The floors were thin though and Angeline was pretty annoyed.
Tacking up my flag.
Downtown at night.
Tribune building.
Bus stop.
NBC Chicago.
Our Chicago deepdish.
Angeline enjoying her thumbs.
The cool Chicago Tribune lobby.
IKEA’s nifty escalator for carts.
